From yesteryear – Chicane – Autumn Tactics (Thrillseeker remix)

Something a little more down-tempo, perhaps a bit too much for a Friday but listening to the ASOT 600 compilation is bringing so many classic tunes back and this is one of my faves from yesteryear (2000 to be exact).

Chicane – Giants

So one of my favourite Trance producers Chicane has released a new album and while I’ve only heard previews of it so far, quite digging the sounds I hear. It seems to have a very chilled laid back sound and will definitely be my choice of music on a lazy spring or summer afternoon. It features some tunes released a while back like Poppiholla and Hiding all the stars. Give it a listen if you’re into your soft melodic Trance. Listening to bits of it just make me wish I could see ’em again as their last appearance at Stereosonic in 2009 was a bit disappointing due to the poor sound.

Chicane vs. Natasha Bedingfield – Bruised Water

Got a new favourite track at the moment, it’s called Bruised Water and is an awesome awesome mashup between Chicane’s classic track, Saltwater and Natasha Bedingfield’s I Bruise Easily (which sounds pretty good but a little bland and slow).

Simply an awesome tune and gets me going everytime I hear it. Also exists is an amazing remix by Adam K, find it on youtube.
